AMPLIFY PODCAST 001: ELLIOTT BROOD
Each month, UR Chicago Magazine, historic tastemaker radio station WOXY.com and Schubas present the Apmplify new music series. Dedicated to bringing the best up and coming talent from around the country (and at home in Chicago) to the intimate setting of Schubas' music room at a low price, Amplify has hosted the likes of Cool Kids, Tigercity, The A-Sides, The Postmarks, Barcelona, Elliott Brood, The Swimmers, Colour Music, Freer, and many more.
The Amplify Podcast is a new program, beginning in January of 2008, that puts one of the bands from the Amplify monthly series into Shirk Studios in Chicago for a live recording session. No overdubs, no auto-tune, this is a raw and real look at some of the best developing talent around.
The first ever Amplify Podcast features five songs from Canadian trio Eliott Brood.
