Could it be?!

Guys! Gals! Rumor has it the writers' strike is over!

According to all the main entertainment rags this morning, the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers are scheduled to meet today to discuss a three-year contract. They could be back at work Monday! (Will Sylar soon be able to move more than just rusty vegetable cans with his mind? Are Jim and Pam still together? Is McDreamy really going to date that nurse? All those lame, fake "season finale"-type cliffhangers can now finally be resolved!)

But that's not necessarily good news for all of us. Mother Hubbard's and my fave show, Friday Night Lights, is in danger of not being renewed. They're not even sure they're gonna finish this now-stellar second season (since they finally got rid of that whole Tyra-and-Landry-killed-a-guy soap opera storyline)! Here's hoping the Dillon Panthers stay on air, regardless of what channel they're on. And luckily for us, the last new episode airs tonight! DVR it. Watch it. Love it. - Kim

(btw, Tyra, I forgive you for going out with Matt Damon's ugly brother. I'm still finishing up the last several episodes on my tivo, so I'm not sure how things worked out between you two yet)
