Museum of Modern Ice
Appropriately enough for one of the snowiest days of the season, Chicago kicks off its month-long Museum of Modern Ice today. The centerpiece is a new, 95 ft long and 12 ft high ice wall by Canadian artist Gordon Halloran, which can be seen near the Bean in Millennium Park. Halloran has also “painted” the McCormick Ice Rink, so grab a pair of skates and head on down to see some of Chicago’s newest art! (I just couldn’t bring myself to call it ‘Chicago’s coolest art’).
