Must Be a Slow News Day...

Photobucket + Photobucket

Lately there has been all sorts of drama at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. You may be thinking "who really cares?" and the answer my friend is the half of the UR staff and interns that are Medill alum (or still attend, holler at the class of '09) and most recently the Trib. The controversy surrounds a column written in Northwestern's newspaper that calls the dean of Medill out on possibly fabricating quotes in a letter he wrote for Medill magazine. Revel in the gossip people because this is about as scandalous as gets at the Nerdwestern journalism school! -Sara

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

ok and not gonna lie, as a diehard michigan state spartan football fan, i am EXCITED to see a little northwestern drama, cause their shitty football team beat the glorous spartans in OT last season. and it was upsetting.

In the grand scheme of things, and as a Medill alum, I don't think this is a really big deal.

But since it is a magazine about one of the best j-schools in the country, it's something that at least should be addressed. Fabricating sources is unacceptable, bottom line.
