MTV's Real World is officially obsolete.
MTV hosted a completely meaningless and awkward awards show for Real World cast members of the last 19 seasons in celebration of the upcoming 20th in Hollywood (in the words of Seth and Amy, really?!). Of course, my roommates and I watched it in its entirety.
We should have known from the get-go that this was a sham (other than it being an awards show for the increasingly irrelevant granddaddy of reality TV) when Danny from the New Orleans season wasn't.even.nominated. for "best male hottie." Again, really?!
And there was plenty of trash in between that first award, which went to some unattractive frat boy from Key West, and the last award for best cast. Now, that's the kicker: Apparently MTV viewers voted for all these winners, and it's telling how young the demographic is when the top three seasons were Austin, San Diego and Las Vegas. REALLY?
Not to mention Boston, Miami, San Francisco... thoughts? - Kim

the only "Real World" i liked was the "Mad Real World" spoof on the Chappelle Show. i could never get into the MTV one cause the people were all mostly annoying douches.
