Pitchfork.tv Online

Pitchfork readers do not have to twiddle their thumbs any longer... Pitchfork.tv has launched!

In its raw infancy, the site features multiple exclusives, from Radiohead jamming out in a basement to live performances posted daily. Online shows are perhaps the most promising part of the site, include Juan’s Basement and Daytripping. Juan’s Basement evokes the ambiance of old school bands playing out their hearts in dusty garages. Daytripping devotes a day to a band to hang out. Man Man, the first Daytripping victim, blasts off fireworks as Pitchfork observes the creative process for producing their new LP Rabbit Habits. Watch for the dog in the tub!

A limited one week documentary headlines with the brutally upfront loudQUIETloud following the Pixies’ 2004 reunion tour. Though music video section may best be left to YouTube, it does offer some videos with expectably more to be added in the future.
