Residual April Fool's prank.

Hey there, Time. You think you're so clever, posting this blurb about presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain and The Hills "star" Heidi Montag a day late for your April Fool's joke:

Asked for a reaction to the news that he'd been endorsed by reality-soap bad girl Heidi Montag of "The Hills," John McCain told Swampland: "I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of 'The Hills,' especially since the new season started."

How do we know it's a fake (other than that ridiculous quote)? No self-respecting publication would print exclamation points in a headline. Sheesh. (And that's not the only thing that's fake. Zing!) - Kim

come on guys, don't you know that the New York Times declared Heidi a feminist hero?

... despite the fact that she is a plastic, boobed out fembot with a douchey ken doll of a boyfriend.
