Oranges...Hanging Chads... The Chicago Reader...

Ummmmm... things associated with Florida?

DING DING DING DING

It’s official. The Chicago Reader has been sold to a Tampa, Florida chain, Creative Loafing Inc. The Reader enjoyed 36 years as a locally owned and operated paper. I'm not sure what changes are in store for them, but I would like to thank Bob Roth and his crew for the over 3 decades of service to Chicago and paving the way for other alternative publications such as UR Chicago.

With that being said, you know who IS locally owned and operated by your friends and neighbors? Yup, you guessed it. UR Chicago.

We love this city like Pete Wentz loves to throw a sucker punch.

Or like Pete Wentz lovees to bang lip synching nose job sluts. He's so punk rock.

Please don't sell UR to Florida! Florida is...(shudder)...a scary place.
