A friend in need is a friend indeed

I'd like to describe myself as the type of friend that will do anything for a friend in need. Whether it be picking up the phone at 3 in the morning to let your drunken friend crash on your couch because he was wondering the streets with no ride home, or offering to stick my finger in someone's eyeball to get a bug out. Today was no different. A friend who just had a few minutes jumped online to request a favor. The conversation went like this:

friend: "Can you do me a favor real quick?"
me: "Sure."
friend: "Can you call this number? 804/201-9377? Supposedly it's Chris Brown's number."
me: "Why?"
friend: "He posted something on myspace to give him a call and leave a message. Just wanted to see if he really picks up or it's automated."
me: "Why can't you do it?"
friend: "I can't do it because I'm in the library."

So, being the good friend, I dialed the number. It went to a voicemail that said,


"Hey this is yo' boy, Chris Brown, leave a message!"

Not knowing what kind of message I was suppose to leave Chris Brown, I blurted, "hollER!" and hung up the phone.
