Achoo! Sorry Airborne, I'm Allergic to LIES!
Every winter since I've gotten to Chicago people all around me have gotten sick. My friends laughed as I popped my Halls Vitamin C cough drops like they were candy, saying that they didn't do anything. They were all over Airborne and drank their tablet-infused water like there was no tomorrow (although if there was no tomorrow I suppose germs would be the last thing one would worry about). Well, look who's laughing now: Airborne has settled a class-action law suit over false advertising, agreeing to pay $23.3 million (so suck on that, Airborne-using friends of mine). To further vindicate my lack of faith in drug-store phenomenons such as Airborne, over 30 studies show that vitamin C will boost your immune system (what Airborne claims to do). Call me old school, but I'm sticking with my Halls. -Sara

Oh noes! I was one of those suckers that bought that stuff. WTF? Where's my money!
whoa!
I had no idea. I had friends that swore by that stuff. And some that used it as a hangover cure. Crazy.
'Course, if you think it works better, it does work better, right? So long as it's brandname pharm -- http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/05/health/research/05placebo.html?_r=1&bl&ex=1204866000&en=3ad7709984fe3164&ei=5087%0A&oref=slogin
