Minnesota Bars Break the Smoking Ban Law, 4th Wall

Give those Minneapolitans some credit -– a loophole in the Minnesota smoking ban “…contains an exception for performers in theatrical productions.” Enterprising bars & nicotine addicts quickly embraced the caveat and are now hosting their own improv nights, dressing in costume, talking in accents, even distributing faux Playbills.

My favorite part is they’re also naming their productions; The Tobacco Monologues being my personal fave. Ummmm, anyone know of a thespian-friendly bar around here? -Brian Howe Battle
