Cityscape Opening!

On the 15th floor of the Holiday Inn, Cityscape bar opened Tuesday night with spectacular views of the Chicago River and the Merchandise Mart. The menu is sprinkled with filling appetizers like buffalo chicken straws and artisan cheese. The Zentini, a concoction of green tea liquor and lime juice, leads the pack of moderately priced cocktails ($9). Seating roughly 100 individuals, Cityscape prides itself as an intimate oasis. White textured “wave” walls with matching ceiling sculptures add a light ambiance contrasting with ebony armchairs and an oval, granite bar. Cityscape offers not quite so expensive prices for a hotel lounge and a convenient place for happy hour (assuming you can afford it). - Justyna

I was there this week and loved it! The prices are easy on the pocketbook but the service and atmosphere make this a great place to relax and enjoy some great food and wine!!! Nice job on this opening!!!
